Medication safety merupakan hal penting yang menjadi perhatian didunia kesehatan khususnya kefarmasian. Karena, kesalahan pada medication safety memberikan dampak yang merugikan baik bagi kesehatan ataupun finansial pasien. Kesalahan pada peresepan menjadi faktor terbesar dalam kesalahan pengobatan, yang pada hakikatnya kesalahan tersebut masih dapat dicegah. Banyak intervensi dikembangkan untuk mencegah kesalahan peresepan, salah satunya adalah sistem resep elektronik. Sistem resep elektronik dapat meminimalisir kesalahan pemberian obat, penulisan resep dan pemilihan dosis obat oleh dokter, kesalahan pembacaan resep oleh tenaga kefarmasian dan meningkatkan efisiensi waktu. Dari hasil kajian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa resep elektronik dapat meningkatkan Medication safety dengan berupaya menurunkan angka medication error terutama yang disebabkan oleh kesalahan pada peresepan yang biasanya terjadi pada peresepan obat secara manual.

Medication safety is an important concern in the world of health in particular kefarmasian. Therefore, errors in medication safety adverse impact giving is good for the financial health or patient. Errors in prescribing being the biggest factor in the treatment of errors, which in fact such errors can still be prevented. Many of the interventions developed to prevent a mistake prescribing, one of them is an electronic prescription system. Electronic prescription system can minimise drug errors, writing prescriptions and the selection of doses of drugs by doctors, errors reading the recipe by kefarmasian energy and increase the efficiency of the time. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the electronic prescription can increase Medication safety by attempting to lower the numbers medication error mainly caused by errors in prescribing that usually occur in prescribing drugs manually.
