Bertie adalah anak dengan ayah terdahulu sedangkan Abdul adalah anak dengan bapak yang sudah meninggal. Abdul dan Bertie selalu bertengkar, mereka tidak pernah saling menyayangi. Bertie memiliki sifat yang keras dan jahat, sedangkan Abdul bersifat baik hati dan penyabar.
