Kemandirian mahasiswa FPTK UPI di dalam menangkap peluang kerja dan menciptakan lapangan kerja, masih memerlukan peningkatan yang berkesinambungan dan terus menerus. Menyikapi kondisi yang demikian, tampaknya Co-op di UKM dibutuhkan mahasiswa. Co-op merupakan program ekra kurikuler bagi mahasiswa yang membutuhkannya dengan melibatkan pihak mitra usaha/industri. FPTK UPI sudah cukup lama bermitra dengan pelaku ekonomi khususnya UKM, hal ini terlihat dari berbagai kegiatan kemitraan seperti pelatihan-pelatihan, magang bagi mahasiswa, pengabdian dosen yang banyak melibatkan UKM. Dari hasil-hasil kegiatan tersebut telah memberikan feed back yang sangat positif terutama dalam menumbuhkan dan mengembangkan jiwa entrepreuner dikalangan mahasiswa FPTK UPI, memberikan pengalaman nyata di dunia kerja, membuka kesempatan kerja dan memperkuat hubungan kemitraan FPTK UPI dengan UKM. Sehingga program Co-op UKM dapat merupakan salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang memiliki efektivitas tinggi dalam mempersiapkan calon wirausaha baru dikalangan intelektual atau lulusan perguruan tunggi khususnya alumni FPTK UPI.

From the results of these activities have given a very positive feed back especially in growing and developing the soul entrepreuner among student FPTK UPI, providing real experiences in the world of work, open up employment opportunities and strengthening relations of partnership with UPI FPTK SMES. So SME co-op program may learning approach is one that has a high effectiveness in preparing new entrepreneurial candidate among college graduates or wait the good intellectual especially alumni FPTK UPI.
