1. Untuk memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat tentang larangan untuk masyarakat yang mampu di setiap daerah untuk menggunakan elpiji bersubsidi.
2. Untuk mengantisipasi penggunaan gas elpiji 3 kg yang tidak tepat sasaran.
