suatu hari ada kluarga yang tinggal di lembah yang mengandalkan kehidupannya pada hasil ladang. ia berharap agar ada hujan turun, akhirnya hujan turun dan keluarga itu pun bahagia tetapi semuanya hancur karna hujan semakin deras dan menjadi badai. kemudian ia mengirimkan surat kepada tuhan yang isinya bahwa ia gagal panen akibat badai yang melanda dan ia membutuhkan uang 100 peso untuk mbeli bibit baru. kemudian ia mengirimkan surat itu melalui pos surat. kemudian surat itu diambil oleh pak pos dan dibacanya karena surat itu di tujukan untuk tuhan. akhirnya sirat itu diberikan kepada kepala kantor pos dan kepala kantor pos merasa iba serta memberikan uang 70 peso. tetapi keluarga itu tidal bersyukur dan mengirim surat lagi yang mengatakan bahwa ia masih membutuhkan uang 30 peso lagi serta memberikannya secara langsung

. bersyukurlah kepada tuhan untuk setiap hal yang terjadi, karena tuhan ingin kita menjadi orang yang tidak hanya meminta tetapi juga berusaha .
