Setiap mata pelajaran mempunyai pendekatan, metode, dan strategi belajar masing-masing, disinilah peran guru sangat diharapkan, yaitu menentukan pendekatan, memakai metode, dan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan mata pelajaran, tema pelajaran yang akan disampaikan oleh seorang guru, guru harus memiliki banyak strategi agar terlahir belajar mengajar yang efektif dan efisien, salah satu langkah untuk memiliki strategi adalah harus menguasai teknik-teknik penyajian yang disebut metode belajar. Oleh karena itu, guru dituntut terampil dalam memilih metode yang baik dan sesuai dengan materi pelajaran yang akan disampaikan.
