Penelitian ini dilakukan survei pendahuluan diawal penelitian guna mengetahui pengalaman dan pemahaman perusahaan konstruksi pada konsep manajemen JIT atau manajamen pengadaan material yang digunakannya. Dari hasil survei terhadap 5 (lima) responden project manager dan engineer pada proyek yang berbeda, didapatkan bahwa beberapa cenderung memahami namun tidak menerapkan karena kompleksitasnya konstruksi pada gedung bertingkat. Hasil survei pendahuluan yang dilakukan terhadap 5 (lima) proyek Kota Surabaya dari perusahaan konstruksi BUMN, menyatakan bahwa pembelian dan pengiriman material disesuaikan dengan penjadwalan kontrak di awal. Proyek yang ditinjau tidak sedang menggunakan komponen pracetak. Sehingga hanya didapat material dari komponen pracetak yang sedang digunakan. Kebutuhan semen dan pasir yang cukup memamakan ruang proyek dilakukan pengiriman pada saat dibutuhkan saja.

Results (English) 1:

This research was conducted the survey introduction beginning research in order to know the experience and understanding of construction company on the concept of management of JIT or manajamen the procurement of materials. From the results of a survey of 5 (five) of respondents project manager and engineer on the project, obtained that some tend to understand but not implemented because of its complexity in multilevel building construction. The preliminary results of the survey which was conducted against the 5 (five) project for the city of Surabaya from STATE-OWNED construction company, declared that the purchase and shipping of materials adjusted to the scheduling of the contract at the beginning. The project is not being reviewed using prefabricated components. So just come by material from the prefabricated components are being used. Needs of cement and sand memamakan enough space projects carried out in times of need delivery only.

Preliminary results of a survey conducted on five (5) projects Surabaya from state-owned construction company, stated that the purchase and delivery of materials adapted to the scheduling of the contract at the earliest. Projects reviewed are not currently using precast components. So that only material obtained from precast components that are being used. Demand for cement and sand are quite memamakan space projects carried delivery in times of need alone.
