Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam Tugas Akhir sebagai berikut:1. Wawancara Menurut Indriantoro dan Supomo (2014:152) "Wawancara merupakan teknik pengumpulan data dalam metode survei yang menggunakan pertanyaan secara lisan kepada subjek penelitian." Dalam Tugas Akhir ini menggunakan metode wawancara kepada Bagian Keuangan untuk mengetahui informasi perpajakan dari Koperasi “X”.2. DokumenterMenurut Indriantoro dan Supomo (2014:146) "Dokumenter adalah jenis data penelitian yang diantara lain berupa: faktur, jurnal, surat-surat, notulen hasil rapat, memo, atau dalam bentuk laporan program." Dokumen yang digunakan yaitu berupa laporan keuangan komersial, Surat Setoran Pajak, Surat Pemberitahuan, dan daftar aset tetap untuk tahun 2016.
