Novel Dracula karya Bram Stoker adalah karya tahun 1897, novel bergenre horor ini yang pertama kali diciptakan oleh Bram Stoker. Novel ini sangat menarik, cerita horornya membuat penasaran setiap pembaca.
Novel ini menceritakan seorang pria asal inggris yang bernama Jonathan Harker melakukan perjalanan ke kastil Dracula untuk melakukan sebuah bisnis. Jonathan akan menjual sebuah rumah pada Dracula. Sebelum pergi ke kastil Dracula, Jonathan menginap di Hotel Golden Krone. Pagi hari ketika Jonathan akan pergi, seorang nenek pemilik hotel melarang Jonathan pergi karena malam itu bertepatan dengan malam St. George ( malam dimana semua roh jahat bebas berkeliaran ), tapi Jonathan memutuskan untuk pergi, lalu nenek itu memberi kalung salib sebagai pelindung Jonathan.
Setelah tiba di kastil Dracula, awalnya Jonathan disambut dengan ramah oleh Dracula. Setelah beberapa hari berada di kastil Dracula, Jonathan diserang oleh Dracula dikarenakan Jonathan mencukur jenggotnya sambil berkaca, lalu Dracula datang mencekram leher Jonathan dan menghancurkan kaca yang digunakan oleh Jonathan. Setelah kejadian itu, Dracula semakin kejam dan Jonathan merasa jadi tawanan, tapi Jonathan berhasil kabur dari kastil itu.
Mina adalah kekasih Jonatha, dia merasa bingung harus mencari Jonathan kemana, lalu ada surat dari Agatha, seorang perawat di rumah sakit Budaphest, memberitahukan bahwa Jonathan sedang dirawat dan mengalami demam otak. Setelah Mina bertemu dengan Jonathan, Mina mengobati Jonathan sampai akhirnya dia sembuh, lalu mereka menikah.
Mina telah bahagia, tapi Lucy menderita karena dia digigit oleh Dracula sampai dia meninggal dan batal menikah dengan Arthur. Dr.seward dan Van Helsing telah berusaha untuk menyembuhkan Lucy tapi tidak berhasil. Dr.Seward dan Van Helsing mengajak Arthur beserta Quency Morris untuk memenggal kepala Lucy dan menghancurkan jantungnya agar Lucy tidak berkeliaran sebagai vampir.
Setelah sekian lama, Mina baru mengetahui bahwa Lucy dan mrs.westenra telah meninggal dunia, prof.Van Helsing menjelaskan semua yang terjadi pada Lucy, sehingga Mina, Jonathan, Prof.Van Helsing, Dr.Seward, Arthur, dan Quency Morris memutuskan untuk membunuh Dracula.
Sebelum mereka membunuh Dracula, ternyata Mina menjadi korban gigitan Dracula tapi berhasil diselamatkan. Hingga akhirnya Dracula dibunuh oleh mereka, Jonathan memenggal kepala Dracula, Morris menghancurkan jantungnya. Setelah itu Quencey Morris meninggal dunia, Mina dan Jonathan hidup bahagia, seward dan arthur menikah. Mereka bahagia terbebas dari Count Dracula.
