suatu hari ada seorang petani yang bernama rancho. rancho menginginkan hujan untuk ladangnya akan tetapi yang datang badai besar yang pada akhirnya menghancurkan ladangnya. lalu rancho mengirimkan surat pada tuhan agar hujaannya reda dan meminta uang sebesar 100 peso untuk menghidupi keluarganya. kemudian surat itu dikirim kepada petugas pos , lalu tukang pos tersebut tidak berani membuka surat tersebut , akhirnya petugas tersebut menyuruh kepala pos untuk membuka. setelah itu kepala pos tersebut membalas surat itu dan mengaku sebagai tuhan dan akhirnya surat berserta uang sebesar o70 peso dikirim kepada rancho. pada saat surat dan uang itu diterima oleh rancho , rancho sangat marah karena uang yang dikirim bukanlaah 100 peso melainkan 70 peso dan akhirnya rancho meminta uang kekurangan tetapi tidak dikirim melalui surat karena menurut rancho , kalau dikirim melalui surat uang tersebut akan di korupsi oleh petugas pos.
