Other species that have been tested and the activity has been reported to have some pharmacological aspects, namely the species M. glomerata. Aqueous extracts of the leaves is reported active antiphiodian (Maiorano et al., 2005), while the aqueous extracts, hidroalkohol, and dichloromethane active leaf as a bronchodilator (Moura et al., 2001), and the ethanol extract active as inflammatory agents (Fierro et al ., 1998).
