Jalan Ahmad Yani, Kecamatan Wiradesa, Kabupaten Pekalongan merupakan lokasi rawan kecelakaan dengan nilai rata - rata EAN (Ekuivalen Angka Kecelakaan) tertinggi dari tahun 2011 - 2015 sebesar 120,6.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode defisiensi keselamatan jalan yaitu dengan melihat seberapa besar penurunan angka keselamatan yang terjadi dalam 3 aspek, yaitu aspek geometrik jalan, struktur perkerasan, dan harmonisasi perlengkapan jalan melalui hasil audit keselamatan jalan pada tahap operasional. Selanjutnya dicari nilai resiko penanganan defisiensi. Hasil perhitungan nilai resiko menunjukkan bahwa beberapa fasilitas jalan berada masuk dalam kategori "sangat berbahaya" (SB), "berbahaya" (B), dan "cukup berbahaya" (CB). Hal tersebut akan menjadi prioritas dalam melakukan perbaikan untuk memperkecil potensi terjadinya kecelakaan, yaitu pada aspek : kondisi perkerasan jalan seperti jalan licin dan alur bekas kendaraan, serta aspek harmonisasi perlengkapan jalan yang meliputi rambu batas kecepatan dan lampu penerangan jalan.

Jalan Ahmad Yani, Kecamatan Wiradesa, Kabupaten Pekalongan is accident-prone locations with average value of EAN (Equivalent figures for accidents) the highest of the year 2011-2015 of 120.6. This research uses the method of road safety deficiency that is by looking at how big the decline in numbers of salvation that occur in three aspects, namely the geometric aspects of the road structure, roughness, and harmonization of road supplies via roads safety audit results on the operational phase. The results of the calculation of the value of the risk indicates that some of the road facilities is included in the category of "extremely dangerous" (SB), "dangerous" (B), and "quite dangerous" (CB). It will be a priority in doing repairs to minimize the potential for the occurrence of an accident, i.e. on the roughness of the road conditions: such as the roads slippery and Groove former vehicle, as well as aspects of the harmonization of road equipment which includes speed limit signs and street lighting lamps.
