Artocarpus is one of the most important genus in the family moraceae. Artocarpus has many uses, among others, the treatment of cirrhosis, hypertension, diabetes, inflammation, malarial fever, antiplatelet, antibacterial, antifungi, and cytotoxic. This paper examines the literature review was made for, and pharmacological activity of the compound content of several species of Artocarpus altilis including Artocarpus (Breadfruit), Artocarpus heterophyllus (Jackfruit) and Artocarpus camansi, (Kluwih). The genus Artocarpus contain compounds that are as diverse as these Terpenoids, steroids, flavonoids, phenolic stilbenoid,, arilbenzofuran, and jacalin. Artocarpus altilis research based has stronger antioxidant activity compared to Artocarpus heterophyllus 63.79 IC50 value of µ g/mL. While in testing anti diabetic third species of Artocarpus altilis is known and Artocarpus heterophyllus activity as inhibitors of α-glucosidase, Artocarpus camansi while anti diabetic activity that is able to regenerate cells of pancreatic β-cells are broken and supposedly can improve insulin receptors. In some of the research that has been done and Artocarpus altilis Artocarpus heterophyllus activity as inhibitors of the biosynthesis of melanin. Artocarpus heterophyllus have stronger tyrosinase inhibition compared Artocarpus atlilis seen from the increasing percentage of inhibition which suggests that the formation of the dopakuinon products has decreased. Based on a review of some research journals, Artocarpus altilis is known that and Artocarpus heterophyllus activity as antioxidant, melanin biosynthesis inhibitors and anti diabetic. Artocarpus camansi while activity as anti diabetic.
