gosip adalah menyebut orang yang tidak hadir di hadapan penyebutnya tentang sesuatu yang kurang disenanginya. gosip itu terlihat sepele karena hanya pergerakan lisan dan membicarakan orang lain namun akibatnya sangat fatal karena bisa menodai kehormatan seseorang. aib akan terus menyebar luas sehingga terus menerus menyebar luas. sekamar, seasrama, sepondok, dan sekampus. apalagi jika kita menggosip di media sosial itu lebih kejam karena akan lebih cepat tersebarnya. kerugian menggosip adalah akan merusak keharmonisasian sosial, mengajarkan kebodohan, dan melenyapkan pahala. maka sudah seharusnya kita benci terhadap gosip.
