Menurut saya belajar menggunakan jigsaw dapat membuat saya menyerap lebih banyak material. Ini disebabkan karena saya dan teman-teman harus memahami materi bagian yang didapat sebelum menjelaskan kembali kepada teman-teman dari kelompok lain. Hal ini akan membuat setiap orang akan bertanggung jawab atas bagian materi yang didapat karena akan ada perwakilan setiap kelompok untuk mempresentasikan kembali hasil yang didapat dari pertukaran informasi sebelumnya; terlebih, nilai dari anggota kelompok tergantung pada perwakilannya. Berbeda dengan teknik presentasi biasa yang hanya menuntut kelompok yang bertanggung jawab untuk menjelaskan didepan kelas kepada teman-teman lainnya. Sebenarnya hal ini tidak menjamin teman-teman lain mengerti materi yang dijelaskan oleh kelompok yang mempresentasikan.
