sistem pendidikan indonesia terbagi menjadi dua level, yaitu formal dan non formal. pendidikan formal terbagi menjadi 3 level yaitu, pendidikan primer, sekunder, dan tertiary. Pendidikan primer diawali dari sekolah dasar, pendidikan sekunder diawali dari sekolah menegah pertama, dan pendidikan tertiary diawali dari sekolah menengah atas hingga universitas.
Pada tahun 2014 pendidikan di indonesia sangat memprihatinkan karena ketika ujian nasional dilaksanakan banyak terjadi kecurangan dengan adanya kebocoran soal dan kunci jawaban. Hal ini mengakibatkan rata-rata nilai kelulusan siswa menurun karena banyak siswa yang tidak lulus ujian akibat salah menggunakan kunci jawaban yang sudah menyebar. Tetapi, pada tahun 2015 rata-rata nilai kelulusan naik menjadi 0,3 poin dan hasil ujian nasional ini tidak menjadi syarat kelulusan untuk bisa melanjutkan ke universitas.

But, by 2015 the average graduation rate rose to 0.3 points and the national examination results is not a requirement of graduation to be able to transfer to a University.
