Di jalan Braga ini juga terdapat suatu bangunan yang terlah berdiri sejak tahun 1925 hasil karya Prof.C.P.Wolff Schoemaker yang digunakan sebagai tempat bioskop untuk orang-orang Belanda dan bentuk dari bangunan ini menyerupai kaleng biskuit sehingga dulu dijuluki blikken trommel dalam bahasa Belanda. Gedung ini bernama Majestic dan menjadi saksi sebagai bioskop yang menayangkan film pertama karya pribumi di akhir tahun 1926 yang berjudul “Loetoeng Kasaroeng”. Namun dengan bemunculannya bioskop-bioskop modern, maka tumbanglah Majestic. Lalu pada tahun 2002 Majestic direvitalisasi menjadi gedung pertemuan dengan berganti nama menjadi Asia Africa Cultural Centre (AACC) dan karena sudah tidak digunakan sebagai bioskop maka gedung ini diperentukkan bagi para seniman untuk menggelar berbagai kegiatan seni dan budaya sehingga pada tahun 2010, gedung ini berubah nama menjadi New Majestic hingga sekarang.

However with modern cinemas bemunculannya, then the tumbanglah Majestic. Then in 2002 the Majestic revitalized into a Conference Hall with the renamed Asia Africa Cultural Center (AACC) and because it was not used as a cinema then it diperentukkan for artists to hold various arts and cultural activities so that in 2010, the building was renamed New Majestic until now.
