(1) Dalam pengoperasian kereta api

(1) Dalam pengoperasian kereta api baru atau yang akan dibangun sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Pasal 9, pemilik prasarana perkeretaapian berkewajiban menentukan sistem SKKO yang akan dipasang dengan mempertimbangkan ketentuan sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Pasal 8.
(2) Penyelenggara sarana perkeretaapian yang akan mengoperasikan sarana di jalur kereta api sebagaimana dimaksud pada ayat (1) berkewajiban memasang Sistem Keselamatan Kereta Api Otomatis (SKKO) yang sesuai dengan SKKL di prasarana perkeretaapian yang dilalui.
